City of Prescott Household Hazardous Waste Collection

Registration Deadline Extended

The City of Prescott Solid Waste Division will offer residents the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous waste with home collections, during the first three weeks of March.

Materials accepted include unwanted paint, pesticides, cleaners, old mercury thermometers and batteries.  Empty containers and dry latex paint can go in your regular trash.

Registration to participate in the City of Prescott Household Hazardous Waste Home Collection has been extended due to the recent snow storm. Visit the City’s webpage and click on box “Household Hazardous Waste Collection”. Registration will be on a first-come, first-service basis. Collection will begin Monday March 4 and continue through late March.

To schedule your appointment, visit the Household Hazardous Waste page.
