SPIDER PHARM: HARVESTING VENOM FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION with Chuck Kristensen

Tuesday, March 26, 9am – 12pm

Are you fascinated by venomous creatures? A special presentation from Spider Pharm founder, Chuck Kristensen, on collecting, breeding, and harvesting venom from spiders and scorpions for antivenin. Kristensen has been featured on Dirty Jobs and Arizona Highways TV.

Cost: $30, 10% discount for HC members

 

About the Highlands Center for Natural History
Formed in 1996, the Highlands Center for Natural History is a non-profit organization developed to foster an appreciation for and knowledge of the natural wonders of the Central Highlands of Arizona.
