Free Cooking Oil, Motor Oil, and Antifreeze Drop-off Year Round for City Residents

The City of Prescott Solid Waste Division offers free drop-off of cooking oil, motor oil and antifreeze for City of Prescott residents at the Transfer Station, located at 2800 Sundog Ranch Road. The Transfer Station is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Drop-off is available year round for City of Prescott residents during normal business hours. No commercial or business drop-off is allowed. Up to 5-gallons of used motor oil and antifreeze per month is permitted for drop off per residence in the City limits. Cooking oil must be in the original container. The cooking oil, motor oil, and antifreeze cannot be contaminated or mixed with other products, or the item will not be accepted as part of this collection program.

Please check with the Fee Booth upon arrival at the Transfer Station for instruction on specific disposal locations at the site.
