Granite Creek Park Closed for Tree Maintenance – Friday, April 29, 2016

A.C. Williams Granite Creek Park, located at 554 N. 6th St., will be closed all day, on Friday, April 29, 2016. Heavy equipment will be operated in various areas that require maintenance, involving the cutting and removal of hazardous tree branches, and other modifications throughout the park.

In partnership with Arizona Public Service (APS), the project will supply necessary annual maintenance, but also enhance the overall quality of the Park. APS will provide qualified arborists and specialty equipment as well as three Red Maple trees through the APS tree replacement program to assist the City in completing the work.

The park will re-open on Saturday, April 30, 2016, during regular operating hours of 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. We apologize for any inconvenience as we work to maintain the park. A list of other parks available for your enjoyment can be found on the Parks & Lakes section of the City website, at bazooka.prescott-az.gov.
