Prescott Named One of 19 Cities That Must Be Seen in 2019 By Expedia Viewfinder

Prescott has been named one of 19 Cities That You Must See in 2019, by travel blog Expedia Viewfinder.

“We are so pleased to make this list for the second year in a row,” said Prescott Mayor Greg Mengarelli.  “Our historic downtown, the area’s natural beauty, our mild climate, and our great outdoor recreational opportunities are all factors.”

In their announcement, Expedia said, “Making the list for the second year in a row, Prescott appeals to the get-away-from-it-all traveler in us. If you’ve noticed that some of your favorite outdoor destinations have been a bit crowded of late, this area has extra appeal.”

The article mentions several Prescott attractions, including our 450+ miles of trails and the historic downtown.  The article also mentions Prescott favorites like the Grand Highland Hotel, the Palace, and the Barley Hound.

Prescott is listed among cities like San Diego, Chicago, and New York.  Tusayan and Bisbee were two other Arizona towns to make the list this year.
