Trails Volunteers

over-the-hillThe Over the Hill Gang is an all volunteer group dedicated to the construction and maintenance of the Great Prescott Area trails. The group was established in the 1990’s in conjunction with Yavapai Trails Association and the Prescott National Forest. Trail work is on Mondays and Fridays with the City of Prescott and Thursdays with the Prescott National Forest. There are often special projects on the other days.

If you would like to volunteer with the City, please fill out the Trail Volunteer Form.

The Over the Hill Gang contact with the City is George Sheats and can be reached at 602-361-7857.

Trails Work Schedule

Friday March 15 we will be working on the Brownlow Trail in Pioneer Park. Wayne Fernandez will be coordinating the improvements to this area. We will also be taking a smaller group to sharpen tools at the City Shop on Commerce. We will meet 8AM in the large parking lot across from the Pickleball Courts on Commerce Drive. This is between Pioneer Parkway and the Motor Vehicle Division.
