Shop With a Cop 2015

The lights and sirens you saw and heard on SR 69 this past Saturday was part of Shop with a Cop – a program that pairs a law enforcement officer with an at-risk child.

The children are given an allotment of money to spend for needed items as well as gifts for family members and loved ones. This year they were at the Wal Mart on SR 69. As you can see from the smiling faces, it was fun for all involved!

The event is made possible solely from donations from quad-city citizens, organizations, and businesses. As in years past, approximately 11 state and local law enforcement agencies participated.
